Premium DNS – Unlimited zones on our Power DNS server network
All domain names registered via us come packaged with sufficient DNS and forwarding resources – to put them to work immediately. If you are forwarding web traffic to your social network site and email to one of your gmail or hotmail accounts, this is ideal.
The standard DNS service – also enables management of DNS zone records such as A or AAAA records to map web and email server IP address’s, a CNAME to alias the www hostname to the domain name and MX records to route email to your mail server. This will be sufficient for most users and all of these tools can be accessed from the integrated control panel.
Premium DNS – Features
Premium DNS can be used with any domain names, regardless of type or registrar. Any domains pointed to zone-reg name servers can be managed from the DNS control panel and not just domains purchased from us. This is absolutely ideal for:
- domains which need DNS setup before registration.
- domains for which the registrar has no DNS control panel eg. eu.org.
- delegation of a domain into unlimited sub-domains.
- users with a more complex IP mapping requirement.
- users who want a feature rich control panel to make the most of their domain names.
- DNS guru’s – who appreciate the value of native SQL replication between master/slave servers.
